The onboard currency on Viking River Cruises in Europe is the Euro (€). All shipboard purchases are charged to your onboard stateroom account and settled at the end of the cruise via credit card. For land visits, the Euro is also used in Germany and Austria, while Hungary uses the Hungarian Forint (HUF)—though credit cards are widely accepted in both countries.
